Power Levelling Alchemy

This is a really quick overview of power levelling alchemy from level 1 to level 50 in about 5 – 10 minutes.

Before starting, please make sure you have 45 CP points in the Craft tree (green one) so that the inspiration boost passive is unlocked which grants you 30% additional inspiration. This will reduce the number of mats you need to power level alchemy. If you don’t have this then you will need additional mats compared to the numbers listed below.

Ingredients

  • 210 Scrib Jelly OR 210 Imp Stool
  • 210 Flesh Fly Lava
  • 20 Ichor
  • 35-40 Slime
  • 40-45 Gall
  • 50-60 Terebinthine
  • 80 Pitch Bile

Instructions

  • Make sure you have 8 spare skill points
  • Start by making 20 Ichor potions to get to level 10
  • Drop skill points into Solvent Proficiency and Chemistry
  • Make 35-40 Slime potions to get to level 20
  • Drop skill points into Solvent Proficiency and Chemistry
  • Make 40-45 Gall potions to get to level 30
  • Drop skill points into Solvent Proficiency and Chemistry
  • Make 50-60 Terebinthine potions to get to level 40
  • Drop skill points into Solvent Proficiency and Chemistry
  • Make 80ish Pitch Bile potions to get to level 50

Drop skill points into Solvent Proficiency so you can create higher level poisons and drop points into Chemistry so you can make more gold back at the end of the exercise by selling all the poisons to a merchant, Chemistry isn’t absolutely necessary but is recommended

The Passives

There are a bunch of passives that you get for levelling alchemy as follows:

  • Solvent Proficiency* – Allows for the creation of higher quality potions and poisons
  • Keen Eye: Reagents – Allows you to see materials out in the wild from further away
  • Medicinal Use* – Increases the duration of your potions by 30% at max level
  • Chemistry* – Increases the number of potions to 4 and poisons to 12 that are created at max level
  • Laboratory Use* – Allows you to use 3 mats instead of 2 when crafting which gives you more stats on certain potions / poisons
  • Snakeblood – Reduces the negative effects from potions

The ones in bold* are the ones I recommend maxing out so that you can create your own potions instead of having to buy them. If you’re not going to create potions then just max out Medicinal Use so you get the 30% longer duration for your pots.
